Each Canvas Block is stretched over a 4cm deep wooden frame with a white canvas edge. The process of printing onto canvas is produced to museum conservation standards using inks developed to re-create a perfect reproduction of the original Liz Jameson painting.

The romance of Lost Cities and Ancient landscapes often finds its way into my paintings; a hangover from my student days as a Classicist. In this small painting I created an abstract-impressionistic imagining of Byzantium, the bejewelled city, shrouded in legend and foretold by the Delphic oracle.
